Lonnie’s Message

To my sons, my family, my players, our teammates, and those to follow, I wish you success in all you do!

When you play, play for fun. Enjoy the sport and all it has to offer. Lessons. Experiences. Good times and bad. Ups and downs.

Support your teammates. Carry yourself with dignity and respect. Listen. Learn. Try your best. Don’t be afraid to fail. And, if you do, pick yourself up. Look forward to the opportunities ahead.

As you progress in life, it’s my hope that you look back fondly on your time playing sports. If you have, give back. If you see the need for change, make it happen. Do it selflessly and for the benefit of others. Only then will you feel the true impact of volunteering.
